Lead me into temptation

Image: Nylon

Perfume is a very personal thing, being that the individual smell adapts to each person's unique chemical make up differently, in addition to the fact that some people are naturally more drawn to one scent than another. As if it wasn't enough for Marc Jacobs to have his claws in my wallet, my closet, and my heart, now he has also quite possibly taken over my favourite smells for spring with some additions to his Splash collection. He offers a little something for everyone, no matter what type of scent you are drawn to. I was delighted to read in Nylon magazine that my favourite designer has enriched his collection with three new fragrances – Basil, Grapefruit and Pear. Alongside Rain, Grass & Cotton, Ivy, Violet & Amber, Cucumber and Orange, the new Splash Sorbet launch happens while Victoria Beckham rules in his ads. Seriously, these yummy scents should be enough to make even Posh think about food. At least for a minute. Expect to see these new scents in stores next month.
The scents are sheer, and have been designed so that you can layer them any way you want, but of course they can also be worn separately. I haven't been able to get my hands on any samples yet, but after reading about the ingredients, I will most definitely be tossing my regular fragrances aside to try out Pear this spring. Yum!

I haven't really experimented with perfume much. I mean, I wear Armani Code sometimes and I like Clinque Happy once in a while, but I'm no expert on the scents of seduction... hmm... I may need to investigate further.

it took my about two years in ottawa to find a cologne I actually liked. and now I don't even think it's made any more.

Mmm yeah he is winning my heart more with everything he makes. Definitely leaning into more of my style with his every move. I would love to try Grapefruit or Basil!

Scent is so powerful, isn't it? The best I've ever smelled is 'Volupte' on a woman in America - made me lose the ability to walk, seriously; it would just make me weak at the knees every time...
